Role summary
CBTS, a leading IT Solutions Provider with over 27 years of experience, is seeking an Email Security Analyst for a long-term contract role supporting a large enterprise environment. The analyst will be responsible for implementing and troubleshooting email authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), optimizing multi-layered email security configurations, and troubleshooting end-user and system issues. Key duties include analyzing logs, identifying threats, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring compliance through policies and security controls. The role requires 3-5 years of information security experience with a focus on email security, strong hands-on experience with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC, understanding of email systems like Outlook, Exchange, and O365, and solid networking fundamentals. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office.

We currently an opening for an Email Security Analyst opportunity supporting a large enterprise environment. This is a strong fit for someone with hands-on experience in email authentication and security operations, looking to grow within a complex, high-visibility environment.
What you’ll be doing:
• Implementing and troubleshooting SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
• Supporting and optimizing email security configurations across a multi-layered environment
• Troubleshooting end-user and system issues related to email filtering and web isolation
• Analyzing logs, identifying threats, and supporting incident investigations
• Working with policies, rules, and security controls to ensure compliance and protection
• Collaborating with teams across the organization to improve email security practices
What they’re looking for:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in information security with a focus on email security
• Strong hands-on experience with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
• Understanding of email systems like Outlook, Exchange, and O365
• Solid networking fundamentals including DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS
• Experience analyzing logs and working within enterprise ticketing systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Nice to have:
• Financial or banking industry experience
• Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.)
• Exposure to tools like Okta, Active Directory, or automation/scripting
This is a long-term contract role that is hybrid (3 days in the office)
