Job Summary

Security Software Data Engineer III
to join a mature, Agile, and cross-functional Information Security Engineering team. This role focuses on building and maintaining security products, as well as developing custom cybersecurity integrations that enhance application security.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security engineering concepts, data integration, and software development, with the ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand requirements for new security integrations and solutions.
- Design and develop solutions to enhance the security posture of applications.
- Build and maintain custom cybersecurity integrations with enterprise applications.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with:
- Application development teams
- Information Security partners
- Lead and manage project execution, including:
- Tracking deliverables and milestones
- Reporting project status and progress
- Documenting requirements, design, and support processes
- Troubleshoot and support distributed systems with a security-first mindset.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Working knowledge of:
- Encryption technologies and best practices
- Certificate and key management systems
- Experience with security tools such as
Venafi
and/or
CyberArk
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as:
- Python
- Java
- JavaScript / Node.js
- Strong understanding of system architecture and distributed systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with
HashiCorp Vault
or
IBM Vault
- Knowledge of tokenization technologies
- Exposure to
Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC/PQR)
- Experience writing test code (unit and integration testing)
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI
