Role summary

ComplexCare Solutions is seeking a temporary Data Analyst for Sales Operations. This role involves developing and engineering scalable solutions through complex operational data analytics to support automation needs for Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success teams. The analyst will work with business insights managers to understand operational requirements, perform analytics, and develop solutions for custom and ad-hoc business needs. Key responsibilities include designing databases, writing SQL queries, developing dashboards, performing root cause analysis, and implementing analytical models. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and specific experience with SQL Server, MS Excel, Tableau, and ETL tools.

Overview: The Data Analyst is responsible to develop, engineer and architect scalable solutions by performing and using the findings of complex operational data analytics that will be supporting the automation needs of the various Operational teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Success.

Will work closely with the managers of the Business Insights team to gain understanding of the Operational needs/requests and perform analytics to develop solutions that will support the various custom/Ad-hoc in-nature business requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop working solutions to custom requirements and data services automation requirements, keeping in mind product capabilities, scope limitations and the impact on integrated products employing SQL Server built in features and analytical methods;
  • Design specific databases for collection, tracking, and reporting of sales and marketing data and other Operational data for IT Operational performance analysis using SQL Server Management Studio 2008/2012 R2;
  • Design, code, test, and debug custom SQL queries using Microsoft SQL queries, SQL Server Management Studio, and SQL Server Reporting Services;
  • Use SQL Server Management Studio and SQL Server Reporting Services to design, develop and perform advanced-level Data Analysis in support of the product offerings;
  • Design, execute and implement IT automated solutions and perform complex data analysis as needed by business and executive management, utilizing MS office suite and SQL database technologies;
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify data flow issues/system performance issues and/or data discrepancy issues across platforms;
  • Design, track, monitor and report on key KPI for Sales, Marketing and other internal teams. Ensures designs, code and processes are optimized for performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability;
  • Knowledge and experience with Big Data technologies like MapReduce, HIVE, HBASE, Pig will be good addition;
  • Assists less experienced peers with the Automation and Operational tasks, analytical functions and processes;
  • Implement complex analytical models in Excel with Macros;
  • Maintain compliance with CCS’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within CCS’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by CCS for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the job offered, or Associate, Programmer Analyst, or related role;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with developing database driven projects using T-SQL or PL/SQL on SQL Server/Oracle;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with MS Excel (intermediate/advanced level Excel incorporating visual basic, and/or excel macros), PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint;
  • Minimum of 2 years developing/maintaining dashboards in Tableau;
  • Minimum of 1 year of working with ETL tools and processes through like Informatica, Oracle MDM;
  • Knowledge and understanding of data transfer through API’s;
  • Experience with analytic and data management or software development environment; and
  • Knowledge of developing and working with BigData technologies like MapReduce, HIVE, HBase and Pig;

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study.
