Role summary
Seeking a Sr. OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Engineer for a hybrid role focused on enterprise-wide modernization. The engineer will build and support non-production environments for performance and resiliency testing of critical applications. Key responsibilities include managing and supporting OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, provisioning clusters, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. This role involves close collaboration with DevOps and automation teams to enhance provisioning and automation efforts.

About the Role
Be part of an enterprise-wide modernization initiative focused on enhancing performance and resiliency testing across large-scale platforms. You’ll work on building and supporting non-production environments, enabling predictive performance testing for critical applications like online banking.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Red Hat OpenShift & Kubernetes platforms
- Provision, configure, and monitor OpenShift clusters
- Collaborate with DevOps and automation teams
- Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of clusters
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues
- Support automation and provisioning improvements
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
- 5+ years of experience working with Red Hat Linux operating systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO)
- Knowledge of container networking & storage architecture
- Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with tools like ArgoCD, Ansible, Jenkins
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
