Role summary

Central Clinic Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time Program Manager for Probate Services in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role provides operational leadership for probate services, managing prescreening affidavits, civil commitment processes, and the Outpatient Community Probate Program. The Program Manager ensures compliance with legal and clinical requirements, oversees staff, coordinates with courts, hospitals, law enforcement, and community providers, and manages documentation and program metrics. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, experience with serious mental illness and the civil commitment/probate system, and experience in staff supervision and program operations. A Master's degree and Ohio licensure are preferred.

Position Summary

The Program Manager - Probate Services provides operational leadership and support within Central Connection Core Services. This position manages the coordination of prescreening affidavits, civil commitment processes, and the Outpatient Community Probate Program while ensuring compliance with applicable legal and clinical requirements. Working under the direction of the Program Director, the Program Manager oversees the workflow and coordination of probate-related services including clinical prescreening, court documentation, case tracking, and cross-system collaboration. The role supervises staff responsible for prescreening affidavits and administrative coordination while ensuring court timelines, documentation standards, and program procedures are consistently met. The Program Manager collaborates closely with probate courts, hospitals, law enforcement, jails, families, and community providers to facilitate appropriate evaluation, placement recommendations, and continuity of care.

  • Lead and oversee daily operations of Probate Court Services, including prescreening affidavits, civil commitment processes, and outpatient probate programming
  • Ensure timely completion of evaluations, court documentation, and required legal processes
  • Coordinate level-of-care recommendations, referrals, and placement decisions across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Serve as a liaison with probate courts, hospitals, law enforcement, jails, attorneys, and community behavioral health providers to support effective communication and continuity of care
  • Supervise and support staff, including workflow management, case assignments, scheduling, and ongoing coaching and training
  • Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance of all documentation in alignment with HIPAA and legal standards
  • Oversee data tracking, program metrics, and reporting to support operational effectiveness and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with leadership and community partners to strengthen coordination across behavioral health, legal, and social service systems
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, criminal justice, or public administration
  • Master’s degree and State of Ohio behavioral health licensure preferred (LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC).
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing serious mental illness.
  • Experience coordinating services within the civil commitment or probate system.
  • Experience supervising staff or managing program operations.
  • Experience collaborating with courts, hospitals, law enforcement, and community providers.
