Role Overview

As a Data Analyst Intern at Chanly AI , you’ll support the data team in turning raw data from e‑commerce, inventory, and customer behavior into actionable insights. You’ll help shape decisions around product assortments, marketing strategies, and website performance — all while gaining hands‑on experience in the fashion retail and online commerce space.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and clean data from multiple sources (web analytics, sales databases, inventory systems)
• Experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, SAS, SQL, R)
• Create reports and dashboards to track sales trends, product performance, customer segmentation, and website metrics
• Assist in ad‑hoc analyses to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and inventory planning
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (merchandising, operations, marketing) to translate data into business‑relevant insights
• Present findings in a clear, concise format, with recommendations that align with brand strategy
• Help maintain data integrity and documentation for analytical processes

Desired Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics or similar
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate numbers into stories
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
• Interest in fashion, retail, e‑commerce or consumer‑facing brands is a plus
