Role summary

Seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests for software applications, ensuring quality and performance. The role involves creating Python test scripts, identifying automation opportunities, analyzing test results, and debugging scripts. Responsibilities include collaborating with development teams for defect resolution, maintaining automation frameworks, improving test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, and documenting test procedures. Experience with mobile devices (phones, tablets, wearables), the hardware/software stack, Android OS features, and Android CI/CD/CT pipelines is essential. Experience managing test setups and lab environments is also required. Prior experience in Google or similar environments is a plus.

We are looking for a strong Automation QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests, ensuring the quality and performance of software applications. Prior experience working at Google or similar environments is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop automated test scripts using Python

· Identify automation opportunities and improve test coverage

· Execute automated tests and analyze results

· Debug automation scripts and resolve issues

· Collaborate with development teams for defect resolution

· Develop and maintain automation frameworks

· Improve test infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

· Document test procedures and contribute to product design reviews

Required Skills

· Strong expertise in Python

· Experience with mobile devices (phones, tablets, wearables) and hardware/software stack

· Good understanding of Android OS features

· Knowledge of Android CI/CD/CT pipelines

· Experience managing test setups and lab environments

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
