Role summary
Our client, a pioneering automotive services organization, seeks a Product Data Analyst to join their data-centric team. This full-time, hybrid role involves working with Data Scientists and Product Managers to analyze vehicle and trip data, build data models, and generate actionable insights. Responsibilities include data processing and cleaning using SQL/Python, analyzing service performance and customer data, creating visualizations and dashboards in tools like Looker, and responding to ad-hoc analytical requests. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's degree, a minimum of 4 years of data analysis experience, strong SQL and Python proficiency, and experience with visualization tools. Familiarity with machine learning and autonomous vehicle operations is preferred.

About the Role
At our client, data is at the core of everything they do. As a Product Data Analyst, you will work alongside Data Scientists and Product Managers to help harness the power of data to understand and improve our service performance and customer experience. You will be responsible for analyzing vehicle and trip data, building data models, and providing actionable insights for Product teams.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Data Processing & Cleanliness: Use SQL / Python to clean, process, and manipulate large datasets to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data used in analysis. Transform data into analytics-ready models where needed.
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze service performance and customer data, uncover trends, and provide insights into the end-to-end customer experience. Correlate rider feedback with service capabilities to inform the Product roadmap and feature prioritization.
- Visualization & Insights: Develop clear, concise visualizations and dashboards in Looker and/or Databricks to support decision-making. Ensure that these tools provide actionable insights for Product managers, leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests, performing targeted analyses to help answer key business questions or evaluate the impact of potential changes to their Product.
- Collaboration with Product and Data Science Teams: Work closely with data engineers and data scientists to establish metrics, data models, and insights; and with Product teams to ensure the work is aligned to Product priorities and maximizes customer impact.
About You
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data analysis
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Proficiency with Python and Pandas for data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience creating and maintaining dashboards with tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving and customer impact.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to a diverse, non-technical audience.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for a non-technical audience.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with machine learning or predictive analytics techniques
- Knowledge of autonomous vehicle operations
