Role summary

This is a 12+ month contract role for an Onsite Data Analyst in Alpharetta, GA. The primary responsibilities include working with business stakeholders to define data requirements, conducting data quality assessments, performing root cause analysis, and supporting data migration and integration projects. The role operates within an Agile environment, requiring the translation of business needs into technical requirements, acting as a liaison between business and engineering, and creating detailed documentation. The analyst will also coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure defect resolution. Early submissions are prioritized due to urgency.

Responsibilities

• Work with business stakeholders to understand data requirements

• Collaborate with data architects and analysts to develop and maintain data mapping documentation

• Conduct data quality assessments and identify inconsistencies

• Perform root cause analysis on any data issues

• Support data migration and integration projects

• Operate in an Agile product development environment, manage stakeholder requests with clear prioritization, translate complex business needs into technical requirements, and applying a design thinking approach to deliver user-centric, iterative solutions aligned with strategic goals.

• Act as a liaison between business and engineering teams to ensure alignment on solution design, delivery timelines, and business outcomes

• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, contributing to iterative development cycles

• Create and maintain detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria to support development and testing

• Partner with Product and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic roadmaps, while proactively integrating testing and validation early in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), track defects, and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with QA and development teams
