Role summary

Cleveland Clinic's Cole Eye Institute is seeking a Program Manager II to play a key operational leadership role. This position supports ophthalmic subspecialties and drives strategic initiatives across multiple sites. The Program Manager II will establish efficient operational systems, partner with leaders, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals for revenue, workflow, access, and business development. The role also leads cross-functional projects for operational improvements and strategic growth, utilizing data and continuous improvement to achieve measurable outcomes. The position requires onsite work at Main Campus daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Program Manager II plays a key operational leadership role within the Cole Eye Institute, supporting ophthalmic subspecialties and driving strategic initiatives across multiple sites of service. This caregiver establishes and maintains efficient operational systems, partners with physician and administrative leaders, and ensures alignment with enterprise goals related to revenue enhancement, workflow standardization, access optimization, and business development.

This role also leads cross-functional projects driving key operational improvements, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and delivering measurable outcomes through data collaboration and continuous improvement.

A caregiver in this position works every day from 8:00am to 5:00pm onsite at Main Campus.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

  • Develop, implement, manage, and maintain operational systems and activities.
  • Drive subspecialty business growth, revenue enhancement, and service expansion.
  • Lead strategic projects such as workflow standardization, OR management/Palantir validation, revenue cycle improvement, and premium IOL/refractive program growth.
  • Serve as a liaison with all levels of the organization and outside community.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects with competing deadlines.
  • Allocate time to meet completion requirements.
  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
  • Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or a related field and three years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training OR Associate’s Degree and five years of experience OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

  • Data analysis experience in a healthcare setting

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.

Pay Range

Minimum Annual Salary: $57,510.00

Maximum Annual Salary: $87,697.50

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.).
