Program Manager – Dedicated Customer
Role summary
The Program Manager is responsible for the daily planning and execution of assigned projects and programs to ensure customer, field, and company success. This role is central to facilitating leadership decision-making and regularly communicating progress and issues to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include supporting proposal development, managing customer relationships, ensuring field readiness and quality, implementing performance metrics, and managing financial goals within project budgets. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in an analytical/decision support role, proficiency in Microsoft Suite, and strong leadership and communication skills. Travel is required, and the position is hybrid.
Job Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for day-to-day planning and execution of all assigned projects/programs to ensure the success of our customers, field and company. This person plays a central role in facilitating decision making processes for Leadership as well as communicating progress and issues to all interested parties on a regular basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales
o Support CloudCover’s proposal development, economic assessment and structuring of offerings via close alignment with the business development and program management teams during the early stages of all opportunities
§ Interface directly with key stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements to aid in finalizing scope of assigned opportunities
o Create added value to program and develop/implement CloudCover’s and Customer’s strategy initiatives
· Clear Lines of Communication
o Act as the primary Customer contact, build relationships with Customer, provide program coordination, and implement action-plans
o Work in conjunction with the Customer Project and Program Management team keeping them apprised of Service activities
o Assess and communicate project status and critical issues/ risks areas to Leadership and key stakeholders, and for driving appropriate responses/ actions to completion, ensuring success
o Highlight and immediately communicate any obstacles to leadership to ensure any course corrections are made in a timely fashion
o Escalate any issues or trends identified over the course of project operations
o Assist CloudCover and Customer by identifying any possible “gaps”; ask questions as necessary for clarity
· Implementation of Team, Projects, and Programs
o Work with Customer to obtain and manage project information and directives
§ Provide recommendations that are consistent with CloudCover’s and Customer’s strategy and that make sense to the business and industry
o Ensure field readiness and quality of workmanship in the field:
§ Build/Maintain relationships with Field Engineers to establish trust
§ Field Engineer compliance to expectation
§ Inspection of field effectiveness and quality of work
o Ensure Field Engineers are prepared to execute field work:
§ Have all up-to-date certifications and credentials
§ Have appropriate tools
§ Understand and follow correct processes
§ Recruit and develop skills
o Implement Field Engineer retention strategies
o Conduct employee reviews quarterly
o Ensure proper Field Engineer coverage
§ Lead Field Engineer is always onsite during an installation
§ Coordinate all travel for Field Engineers
o Fully understand all elements of a project or program
o Read and be familiar with all materials for projects/programs including installation guides/directives, data collections, project/program updates
o Participate in all applicable trainings, meetings and conference calls
o Drive overall accountability for project success, and is responsible for a facilitating smooth transition related to changes in plans and associated roadmaps
· Reporting
o Implement and sustain Key Performance Measures designed to monitor, and track assigned project status, operational effectiveness, successes, and areas of improvement
o Drive, monitor and continually assess project opportunities with specific focus given to return on investment, profitability and capacity planning impacts
o Manage department and Customer financial goals within Customer’s budget for each Project, makes recommendations to improve ROI and gross margin
o Maintain project controls that accurately reflect completed work against project plans, schedules and budgets, and ensure user/management involvement at appropriate milestones
· Miscellaneous
o Other tasks as requested by management
Requirements
· Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Project/Program Management or other related field is required or equivalent combination of education and experience
· Five-plus (5+) years experience in analytical, decision support role
· Experience implementing and managing a Project/Program Management model a plus, not required
· Digital signage, networking, and audio experience in retail, QSR, data centers, and/or healthcare recommended
· Self-starter and team player
· Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
· Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all company levels
· Results-driven and goal-oriented attitude
· Strong leadership skills
· Ability to work and thrive in fast-paced environment

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
