Role summary
A Quality Engineer with expertise in Automation (SDET) is sought for a 6-12 month contract in Pittsburgh, PA. This role focuses on creating and maintaining automated testing solutions for IT systems and applications within the Banking industry. Responsibilities include building optimized test scenarios, developing automation for test execution, and managing test data and environments. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of test automation tools and technologies, integrating testing automation into overall delivery automation, and aligning with Agile, DevOps, and Container trends. Proficiency in Combinatorial Test Design platforms (IGNITE, Hexawise), automation tools (Selenium, Karate), API testing tools (Postman, Karate), SQL, Java/Python, and API Integration testing is required.
