Role summary
Coba.ai is seeking a remote Full-stack Developer for its US-MX cross-border fintech platform. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of development experience, proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, and experience with fintech applications and backend data pipelines. Familiarity with React, NextJS, RoR, API integration, and AI/ML is also desired. The candidate will collaborate with co-founders, contribute to impactful projects, and help establish robust error handling, QA, and analytics systems. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and stock options.

The ideal candidate will excel at fostering meaningful interactions between various stakeholders while prioritizing the overall client experience.
We're seeking a resilient and self-reliant engineer eager to tackle challenges across the development stack. As an early team member, you'll collaborate closely with our co-founders and early collaborators, offering ample opportunities for professional growth, learning, and leadership development in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
* Dive into impactful projects and witness your contributions come to fruition on our platform.
* Establish and maintain robust error handling frameworks, implement comprehensive quality assurance processes, and set up efficient tracking and analytics systems to uphold platform integrity.
* Collaborate closely with our co-founders and founding engineers, challenging the status quo and absorbing knowledge.
Qualifications:
* Working Experience with US-based startups/companies is a must
* "Full-stack capable" engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in development teams.
* A quick learner with a strong desire for both technical and professional growth.
* Proactive mindset and eagerness to contribute.
* Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with a passion for expanding skills.
* Commitment to excellence in site uptime, performance, and user experience.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented approach.
* Experience managing backend data pipelines at scale.
* Familiarity with React, NextJS, and RoR, and expertise in integrating and managing data via third-party APIs.
* At least 3+ yrs of experience with fintech applications, integrations and basic compliance/regulatory implications.
* Tested and/or implemented productive implementations of AI/ML and/or GenAI.
