Data Engineer | Remote
Role summary
This is a remote, hourly contract role for a Data Engineer focused on AI evaluation. The primary responsibilities include reviewing AI outputs for solution architecture, technology recommendations, and technical documentation. You will create scenarios based on IT consulting workflows, annotate and validate data across various IT services use cases (cloud migration, security, infrastructure, DevOps), and provide feedback on AI accuracy. The role requires strong experience in IT services, systems integration, technology consulting, cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity consulting, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise application consulting (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday). Strong analytical thinking and communication skills are essential.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Review and evaluate AI-generated outputs related to solution architecture, technology recommendations, implementation planning, and technical documentation
- Create realistic scenarios based on IT consulting workflows such as discovery workshops, requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, migration planning, and post-implementation review
- Annotate, label, and validate data across IT services use cases including cloud migration assessments, security posture reviews, infrastructure design, and DevOps pipelines
- Provide structured feedback on AI accuracy across enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud platforms, security standards, and ITSM practices
- Collaborate asynchronously with research teams to refine evaluation frameworks for technology-domain AI
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in IT services, systems integration, or technology consulting
- Background in IT strategy and digital transformation advisory
- Strong experience in cloud architecture and migration (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong experience in cybersecurity consulting and risk assessment
- Strong experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI/ML implementation
- Strong experience in enterprise application consulting (SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday)
- Relevant certifications such as AWS, Azure, CISSP, PMP, or TOGAF are a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate consulting workflows into structured evaluation tasks
- Clear written communication and high attention to detail
