Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Data Engineer
to design, build, and maintain large-scale data platforms that support analytics, AI solutions, and enterprise reporting. The role focuses on modern cloud-based data architecture, data quality, secure governance, and end-to-end automation across multiple business units including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Data Platform & Cloud Engineering

  • Design, develop, and manage enterprise data platforms for data ingestion from multiple sources using AWS, processing, and storage in Snowflake.
  • Enable seamless cloud integration, cross-region data sharing, and end-to-end automation for analytics and AI-driven solutions.
  • Ensure secure data governance, data quality at scale, and compliance across the data ecosystem.

Data Warehouse & Migration

  • Lead the migration of Hadoop and Oracle-based data systems to Snowflake cloud data warehouse platforms.
  • Modernize legacy data solutions to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Perform solution architecture, database design, and optimization for large datasets.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

  • Build and maintain datasets and data models for key metrics related to:
  • Factory Quality
  • Field Quality
  • Product Quality
  • Failure Analysis
  • Connected Quality and Supply Chain Insights
  • Support operational dashboards that provide a single pane of glass for Engineering and Supply Chain quality initiatives across all Business Units (BUs).

KPI & Metrics Implementation

  • Define and implement consistent, actionable KPIs with common definitions across the organization.
  • Deliver end-to-end KPI solutions, from requirements and design to development, testing, and deployment.

Solution Delivery & Operations

  • Perform business and technical analysis, effort estimation, scheduling, and solution planning.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
  • Ensure high system performance through performance tuning, unit testing, and defect resolution.

Technologies & Tools

  • Cloud & Data Platforms: AWS, Snowflake
  • Big Data Technologies: Hadoop, Hive, SQOOP
  • Databases: Oracle, Teradata
  • ETL & Integration: Informatica, Control-M
  • Programming & SQL: Oracle PL/SQL, SQL
  • Reporting & Analytics: Enterprise dashboards, KPI frameworks
  • Other Tools: TES, CIS, Business Objects ($Universe)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or database development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, cloud data platforms, and large-scale data migrations.
  • Extensive experience in data modeling, ETL development, and performance tuning.
  • Proven ability to deliver enterprise-wide KPI and analytics solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting AI/ML analytics platforms.
  • Experience with manufacturing, quality, or supply chain data domains.
  • Exposure to cross-region or global data-sharing architectures.
