Job Summary

Combat Textiles is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Designer & Fabrication Specialist to join our growing team. This role involves working with laser cutters, 3D printers, and vector-based design software to create and produce high-quality products. The ideal candidate is hands-on, design-minded, eager to learn advanced manufacturing techniques, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. An interest in the firearms, outdoor, or tactical industry is strongly preferred, as familiarity with firearm brands, models, and related accessories is important to ensure accuracy in product design and fitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate laser cutters and 3D printers to fabricate product components
  • Use design software such as CorelDRAW and other vector-based tools to modify and optimize product designs
  • Prepare materials for manufacturing, including cutting, setup, and assembly
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet Combat Textiles’ standards for accuracy, fit, and finish
  • Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment as needed
  • Stay current on industry trends and advancements in design, fabrication, and manufacturing technologies
  • Work with product references tied to firearm and accessory platforms, paying close attention to brand, model, and fitment details to avoid design or production errors

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with common firearm brands, models, optics, and lights strongly preferred
  • Experience operating laser cutters and/or 3D printers is a plus; training can be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, or similar programs
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new tools and techniques
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or technical training are a plus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 per hour
