Role summary

CTP, Inc. is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to establish and oversee enterprise cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of systems, data, and digital infrastructure across cloud, platform, and development environments. The role involves leading security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and establishing risk management and compliance frameworks. The CISO will implement continuous monitoring and threat detection programs, conduct security assessments, and develop disaster recovery strategies. This is an executive leadership position requiring 12+ years of cybersecurity experience, including cloud security and experience with security frameworks like NIST and ISO. Experience managing security operations teams and strong incident response/risk management skills are essential. Travel to the Caribbean region is required.

We provide program management services for government and private clients and deliver technical assistance programs in over 80 countries around the world. CTP provides specific solutions or full lifecycle support, including course and curriculum design, expert instruction, logistics support, monitoring & evaluations, knowledge management, strategic planning, program management, and staffing services.
Position Summary

Travel to the Caribbean region will likely be required.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise cybersecurity strategy and policies
  • Lead security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management
  • Establish risk management and compliance frameworks
  • Implement continuous monitoring and threat detection programs
  • Ensure security integration across cloud, platform, and enterprise systems
  • Conduct security assessments and audits
  • Develop disaster recovery and resilience strategies
  • Provide executive leadership on cybersecurity risk and posture

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
  • 12+ years of cybersecurity experience
  • Experience with cloud security environments
  • Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO, etc.)
  • Experience managing security operations teams
  • Strong incident response and risk management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification
  • Experience supporting government or regulated environments
  • Experience with SIEM and security monitoring platforms

Hybrid, preferred candidate will be located in the Washington DC area with remote work possible. Travel to Caribbean region required.

Compensation

Salary range based upon experience, but this is a senior/executive level role.
