This position is critical to ensuring product reliability, safety, and performance while supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform functional testing of electrical equipment including insulation, Hi-Pot, I/O verification, cooling systems, and performance validation

• Troubleshoot equipment issues independently and identify root causes using technical expertise

• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, and documentation for inverters, converters, and drive systems

• Set up and maintain test lab environments, including selection of required test equipment

• Prepare detailed test reports and documentation using standard engineering templates

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying manufacturing and testing inefficiencies and implementing solutions

• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve product design and testability

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and EHS standards

• Lead or support customer witness testing and factory acceptance testing (FAT)

• Participate in third-party certification testing and validation processes

• Track and report key quality metrics such as first pass yield and testing outcomes

• Align testing processes with applicable industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL)

• Promote a safety-first and zero-defect culture across testing operations

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field required

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in electrical equipment testing, manufacturing, or a related engineering function

• Experience working with power electronics, industrial drives, or similar equipment preferred

• Exposure to manufacturing processes, quality systems, and testing environments required
