Role summary

Wonder, the AI and innovation label of Conscious Minds, is seeking a freelance AI Engineer/Prompt Engineer to build production-ready AI systems for brands. This role requires a strong engineering foundation in Python, JavaScript, APIs, and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), with hands-on experience in RAG, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma), and LLM integration (Claude, GPT, Gemini). You will design and implement AI tools, workflows, and pipelines, working across the full stack and orchestrating LLMs into scalable systems. Familiarity with agent frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex is essential. The ideal candidate can translate creative needs into technical specifications and communicate effectively with non-technical teams, focusing on shipping functional systems rather than prototypes.

Remote location is fine, within the US and able to work PST is required.

Wonder — the AI and innovation label of Conscious Minds — is looking for a freelance generative media artist on the engineering side: someone who can architect systems with real technical depth, ship production-ready pipelines, and still communicate fluently with a creative team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build AI-powered tools, workflows, and pipelines for client and internal production projects
Design and implement RAG systems, vector search, and document processing pipelines
Integrate and orchestrate LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini) into scalable, production-ready systems
Work across the full stack — from API integration to lightweight front-end interfaces
Translate creative and strategic needs into technical specs and ship them
Think critically about system architecture — what scales, what breaks, what's actually necessary

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Solid engineering foundation — Python, JavaScript, APIs, cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, etc.)
Familiarity with agent frameworks — LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar
Experience deploying AI systems that handle real load, not just prototypes
Comfort with vibe coding and AI-assisted development, paired with the judgment to know when to slow down
Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical creative and strategy teams
