Role summary

Seeking a Principal Software Engineer with 11 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. The role requires strong development skills in languages like Java and Python, experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux platforms, and Virtual Machines. Responsibilities include supporting a lab environment, developing capabilities to solve analyst problems, prototyping solutions for enterprise services, analytics, machine learning, and cloud environments. The position also involves integrating and evaluating new technologies and working directly with customers and data scientists. Active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph and US citizenship are mandatory.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
 
 

Required:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph.
  • Eleven (11) years of direct/relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • Strong development experience in a variety of languages (ex., java, python).
  • Will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.
  • Develop capabilities designed to help solve common problems arising from various analyst offices.
  • Prototype development to extend enterprise services, support analytics, enhance machine learning, and develop commercial cloud solutions.
  • Support the integration and evaluation of open source, emerging technologies, and new COTS applications.
  • Work directly with customers, developers, or data scientists to gather requirements and feedback.
  • Experience integrating with customer's cloud-based data systems.
  • Experience installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation.
