Role summary

ContactLoop is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive its outbound sales operations. This high-volume, phone-first role involves engaging prospects, qualifying opportunities, and routing leads to the Account Executive team. The SDR will manage inbound leads and build their own pipeline, utilizing CRM for disciplined lead and pipeline management. A key aspect of this role is developing a strong understanding of ContactLoop's conversational AI platform, including Messenger, ChatFusion, and VoiceFusion tools. The ideal candidate is a natural communicator with grit and perseverance, comfortable with rejection, and possesses strong CRM skills or the ability to learn quickly. Prior SDR experience is not required, but a genuine interest in AI and marketing technology is preferred. This role serves as a launchpad for career advancement within the company.

About the Role

The SDR is the engine of ContactLoop’s outbound sales operation. You are the first voice prospects hear, the person who opens the conversation, qualifies the opportunity, and routes the right leads to our Junior AE and Senior AE team to close. This is a high-volume, high-energy, phone-first role built for someone who loves to talk, loves to learn, and loves to win.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute high-volume outbound phone outreach to SMB and mid-market prospects, qualifying opportunities and routing them to the AE team.
  • Manage inbound leads from ContactLoop’s marketing funnel AND proactively build your own outreach pipeline, both tracks are expected.
  • Use our CRM to maintain accurate, up-to-date lead records, disciplined pipeline and lead management is critical to this role.
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos for the Account Executive team, ensuring warm, well-qualified handoffs.
  • Develop a working knowledge of ContactLoop’s full product suite, including our Messenger, ChatFusion, and VoiceFusion tools so you can speak confidently and credibly about how our conversational AI platform powers the consumer lifecycle.
  • Bring grit to every shift you will hear “no” more than “yes,” and that is exactly what this role requires.

What We’re Looking For

  • A natural phone communicator who builds rapport fast, handles objections calmly, and doesn’t take rejection personally.
  • Grit and perseverance above all else, the ability to make 100 calls and come back sharper is what separates great SDRs from everyone else.
  • Strong CRM skills (or fast learner), lead management and data discipline are non-negotiable.
  • A genuine interest in AI, marketing technology, and how the customer lifecycle journey is evolving.
  • A growth mindset, you see the SDR seat as the launchpad it is, not a ceiling.
  • No degree required. No prior SDR experience required. If you can hold a great phone conversation and you refuse to quit, we want to meet you.
