Role summary

Contemporary Amperex Technology Kentucky LLC (CATK), a subsidiary of a global leader in electric vehicle and energy storage batteries, seeks an IT Engineer-Information Security Engineer. This role is responsible for ensuring the security of enterprise network systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Key duties involve designing, implementing, and maintaining technical security systems, reinforcing operating systems, and responding to security incidents. The position requires expertise in information security products and equipment, with a focus on maintaining system safety and availability. Job Overview

  • Be responsible for ensuring the security of enterprise network systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access control and encryption, etc. Conduct information system authority review to ensure that the right people have the right authority.
  • Design and plan technical security system to ensure the security of information system; Implement technical security policies, including the configuration of security products and equipment.
  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of information security system. Flexible use of information security products in the market and integration capability.
  • Reinforce all kinds of operating systems to ensure the security of the system. Design the reinforcement scheme of information security system. Respond quickly to security incidents to ensure that the company's applications and systems are in a safe and available state.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Computer, automation, electronic engineering and other science and engineering background is preferred. Bachelor degree or above
  • 3-10 year of service
  • 1+ management experience
  • Familiar with information security products and equipment configuration.
  • Quickly understand business requirements and propose solutions.
  • Familiar with the division of network security domain and the design of network security architecture.
  • Understand common Web vulnerabilities and their attack techniques.
  • Experience in information security technology management is preferred.
  • Good oral and written English skills

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Regular, predictable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.
  • Ability to move throughout offices, manufacturing facilities, and construction areas, including walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing stairs or ladders.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25–50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting as required, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work in varied environments, including offices, industrial, and construction settings.
  • Willingness to travel to other job sites as business needs require.
