Role summary

The IT team is seeking a Middle Software Engineer to join their full-time, onsite team. This role requires proficiency in Java and JavaScript, with experience in Spring and React, as well as strong UI development skills using HTML, CSS, and responsive design. The engineer will be responsible for designing and consuming REST APIs, utilizing Git for version control, and working with legacy systems and PL/SQL. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services like AWS or GCP is essential. The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $85,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package. Fluency in Korean and English is required.

Minimum qualifications:

● B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

● Proficiency in Java and JavaScript, with experience in Spring and React.

● Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and responsive design; ability to build polished, accessible UIs.

● Solid experience designing and consuming REST APIs, with a strong grasp of data binding and asynchronous communication patterns.

● Proficient use of Git including branching strategies, code reviews, and PR workflows in a team environment.

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Korean, to effectively communicate with team members and external contractors.

● 3+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.

● Experience with legacy systems and PL/SQL.

● Experience with legacy systems

● Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP)

Preferred qualifications:

● Experience with Android development

● Experience with AI Coding Tools (e.g., Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, Cursor)

● Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

● Experience with system architecture design, technical decision-making, code review leadership, or mentoring junior developers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
