Role summary

Creospan is seeking an Internal Solutions Engineer II for a long-term contract role in Menlo Park, CA. This hybrid position involves designing, building, and supporting backend and frontend software components using Hack, Javascript, and Python. The role requires leveraging engineering skills to drive business impact, partnering with product and analytics teams on strategic projects and operational issues, and independently identifying and solving problems. Candidates must be able to work in the US without sponsorship and are required to be W2 employees, with no C2C or third-party submissions. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required.

Internal Solutions Engineer II

Menlo Park, CA (Hybrid)

Long term Contract

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and support core backend and frontend software components.
  • Build software in the company stack using primarily Hack, Javascript, and Python.
  • Use engineering skill sets in a business organization to drive meaningful business impact by looking through problems through and operational lens.
  • Partner in cross-functional product and analytics teams to lead or contribute to large scale strategic projects as well as solve ongoing operational problems at scale.
  • Self-identify gaps, problems, needs, and come up with robust solutions with relative independence.

Skills:

  • Knowledge in software engineering programs such has PHP, Hack, Python, Java, C++ or similar.
  • Ability to write self-documented code.
  • Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
  • Knowledge with 2D and 3D tolerance analysis.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
