The Data Analyst will collaborate across departments to optimize data workflows and enhance overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL, R, Python, and other analytical tools.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to communicate findings effectively.
- Support project management activities within Agile frameworks and contribute to SDLC processes for data projects.
- Design and maintain databases using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Perform business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Automate repetitive tasks through VBA scripting and Bash (Unix shell) scripting to increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored analytics solutions.
- Document processes and workflows adhering to best practices in analysis skills and project documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, and VBA.
- Strong understanding of database systems including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and experience working within Agile environments.
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into clear insights.
- Familiarity with project management principles related to analytics initiatives.
- Experience with database design, business analysis, and visualization tools like Visio is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for presenting findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Pay: $44,306.66-$109,087.16 per year
