What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Manage and communicate cybersecurity threats, risks, and state of controls to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and stakeholders
- Implement and operate security controls and automation across multiple cybersecurity subdomains
- Identify cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and deficiencies, determining root causes and managing remediation strategies
- Establish and execute security processes and procedures across multiple cybersecurity domains
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and contractual requirements, including maintaining necessary artifacts for NIST SP 800 compliance
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or a related technical field preferred
- Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience in multiple cybersecurity domains
- Experience designing, implementing, and operating security controls for cloud-based systems such as AWS
- Hands-on coding experience in creating tools and automation to enhance security controls
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail and intellectual curiosity

- Substantial experience with security frameworks, especially NIST 800
- Understanding of common cybersecurity vulnerabilities and attack patterns
