What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Act as the primary application and product security partner for assigned products, leading end-to-end security reviews
• Conduct application-focused security assessments, including threat modeling and secure design validation
• Own vulnerability triage and prioritize findings based on exploitability and business impact
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to embed secure practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Support alignment of security practices with frameworks such as PCI DSS and GDPR

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience in application security, product security, or a closely related domain
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC, application security principles, and vulnerability management
• Proven experience in conducting end-to-end security reviews and supporting release decisions
• Familiarity with application security testing approaches and cloud-native SaaS environments, preferably AWS
• Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field
• Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CSSLP, or AWS Certified Security
• Experience with manual application security testing and secure design reviews
• Exposure to customer-facing SaaS platforms with regulatory requirements
• Background in organizations that rapidly scale and mature security practices
