What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Monitor and report on the status of information security and confidentiality conditions
• Interface with users to understand their security needs and implement procedures
• Assist with preparing for security audits and remediating findings
• Develop information security policies and standards to ensure compliance
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure adherence to security policies and standards

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security or related field
• Thorough knowledge of information security management tools and standards
• Familiarity with state and federal legislation regarding information system security
• Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Degree in information security or technology preferred

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Security certification (e.g., CISSP, CRISC)
• Experience with network administration
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, SOC 2)
• Experience with IRS and SSA computer security compliance and auditing
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
