This role involves assessing cybersecurity documentation, conducting client interviews, evaluating compliance with standards like FISMA and FedRAMP, and performing vulnerability scanning. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, U.S. citizenship, at least 1 year of experience in FISMA-based A&A activities, and the ability to obtain a FedRAMP required certification within 3 months. What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Assess and analyze cybersecurity documentation for client information systems
- Engage with clients to perform interviews and understand their needs for effective solutions
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evidence collection to evaluate compliance with standards such as FISMA and FedRAMP
- Develop and utilize scripts to automate tasks and enhance the efficiency of security assessments
- Perform system and network vulnerability scanning using tools such as Nessus and DISA STIGs
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain necessary security clearance
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in FISMA-based security Assessment and Authorization activities
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective client interactions
- Must obtain a FedRAMP required industry certification within 3 months
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Demonstrable scripting skills in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing, FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST/DoD RMF
- Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and compliance checks
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a strong technical aptitude
