What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Engage directly with clients to perform assessments, understand their needs, and provide effective solutions
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of cybersecurity documentation and evaluate compliance with standards such as FISMA and FedRAMP
  • Develop and utilize scripts to automate repetitive tasks for security assessments and reporting
  • Perform system and network vulnerability scanning and analysis using industry-standard tools
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports and documentation related to security assessments

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High School diploma, Technical Certifications, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology
  • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Strong verbal communication skills for client interactions
  • Demonstrable scripting skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Basic knowledge of Cloud Computing, FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST RMF

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 1+ years of experience in FISMA-based security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities
  • Experience in creating and maintaining scripts for cybersecurity tools and processes
  • Proficiency in performing technical assessments using tools like Nessus and ACAS
  • Knowledge of security engineering and secure architecture development
  • Understanding of cyber security risk identification and mitigation
