What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Serve as the initial evaluation point for all security-related tickets, including triage, containment, and remediation
• Conduct real-time monitoring of security events and analyze information security incidents
• Perform incident response activities, including endpoint isolation and malware remediation
• Design and manage security tools and implement operational processes for incident handling
• Provide customer support according to the employer's core values and assist with risk management and vulnerability projects

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 5+ years of experience in information technology or Cyber Security Operations
• 2+ years of experience working in a security operations center (SOC) or on a cybersecurity incident response team
• Professional certifications such as ISC2 CISSP, SANS GIAC, or other relevant industry certifications
• Experience with data collection and analysis from various security monitoring tools
• Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of enterprise security tools like Splunk, Tenable, Microsoft Defender, and PowerShell
• Experience in mentoring junior analysts
• Strong understanding of incident response lifecycle and documentation best practices
