What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct application security assessments to identify and mitigate security risks
• Perform DAST scans for internal and external applications
• Conduct end-to-end penetration testing engagement for e-commerce applications
• Analyze security risks and create vulnerability reports with recommendations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex security issues

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Education and/or certifications in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3-5+ years of IT work experience with at least 2 years in application security
• Proficiency in security testing tools (DAST, SAST, SCA) and manual web application penetration testing
• Strong knowledge of application security principles and secure coding practices/frameworks such as OWASP
• Understanding of the retail industry and eCommerce infrastructure

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps
• Experience with API testing
• Knowledge of Threat Modeling and DevSecOps
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++
• Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, etc.)
