Role summary

CyberArk is seeking Senior Fullstack Engineers to join their Machine Identity Control Plane team in Santa Clara, CA. This hybrid role involves designing and implementing high-performance Golang backend microservices and scalable React/TypeScript interfaces for certificate lifecycle and identity workflows. You will operate across backend and frontend layers, contribute to distributed microservices architecture, and work with data-driven workflows and APIs. The role requires 5+ years of software development experience, hands-on experience with Golang or other OO languages, and proficiency in React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and MUI X. Experience with API design, data-driven interfaces, and microservice architectures is essential. Nice-to-haves include experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, identity concepts, and cloud-native products.

Build and own full stack services behind CyberArk’s Machine Identity Control Plane — designing high performance Golang backend microservices and scalable React/TypeScript interfaces that power certificate lifecycle and identity workflows across distributed cloud systems.

We are expanding our Machine Identity Security engineering teams and hiring Senior Fullstack Engineers to help shape the Control Plane and Data Platform experiences that enable global organizations to automate, secure, and manage machine identities at scale.

This is a platform-focused role working across backend services, distributed microservices, and modern React applications that surface complex identity workflows in real time.

What You Will Do

  • Operate across backend and frontend layers of the Machine Identity Control Plane and Data Platform.
  • Design and implement backend services using Golang and Java, supporting platform integrations, APIs, and automation tooling.
  • Build modern frontend applications using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and MUI X.
  • Contribute to distributed microservices architecture powering certificate lifecycle management and identity operations.
  • Work with data-driven workflows, APIs, and platform integrations that enable scalable identity automation.
  • Collaborate closely with platform, frontend, and backend engineers to deliver seamless end-to-end functionality.
  • Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed services and cloud-native infrastructure.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting platform reliability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience across backend and/or frontend systems.
  • Experience building scalable web applications or distributed backend services.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Frontend: React, TypeScript, GraphQL, MUI X
  • Backend: Golang or another object-oriented language (Java, C#, Python, etc.)
  • Experience designing APIs, data-driven interfaces, or microservice architectures.
  • Strong collaboration skills and interest in working across the full stack.

Nice to Have

Experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or modern data platforms.

Knowledge of identity, authentication, x509, PKI, or certificate lifecycle concepts.

Experience building Control Plane, platform engineering, or cloud-native products.

The salary range for this position is $155,000 – $194,000/year, equity and discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
