Role Description
This is a contract, remote position for a Senior Platform Engineer specializing in the BioTech space. The role involves maintaining and developing software infrastructure to support critical healthcare and biotech applications. Daily tasks include designing, coding, and implementing software solutions, troubleshooting system issues, optimizing databases, and contributing to platform scalability. The Senior Platform Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability, security, and regulatory compliance in alignment with CytoCync’s mission.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in modern programming languages.
- Experience in building and maintaining Infrastructure and managing scalable systems.
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting and problem-solving within distributed system environments.
- Proficiency in working with Databases, including query optimization and data modeling.
- Comfort with remote, self-directed work, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Prior experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or biotech is strongly preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and other compliance frameworks is a plus.
