Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our engineering team as a hands-on individual contributor. In this role, you will be responsible for sizing, specifying, and coordinating site-wide ancillary infrastructure and utility systems for both internal manufacturing facilities and international client factory installation projects.

This position supports complex industrial environments involving utilities, safety systems, environmental infrastructure, and high-load electrical coordination.

This role is based on-site in Cabot, Arkansas. Relocation support may be considered for highly qualified candidates.

Some domestic and international travel (approximately 15–30%) is required.

This role supports infrastructure and utilities design for ammunition and propellant manufacturing facilities and related industrial process environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently size and specify infrastructure systems including boilers, blowers, HVAC equipment, steam systems, compressed air systems, cooling water networks, chillers, and associated utilities
  • Perform high-load electrical calculations and define infrastructure requirements supporting manufacturing operations
  • Design site-wide utility strategies including fire suppression systems, explosion-proof lighting, and safety infrastructure for hazardous environments
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions for material handling infrastructure such as loading docks and bulk solvent transfer systems
  • Develop concepts and specifications for wastewater treatment systems, evaporators, and environmental support infrastructure
  • Interface closely with piping design engineers to ensure seamless integration of utility piping and process infrastructure
  • Prepare utility summaries, load calculations, equipment specifications, and infrastructure requirement documentation
  • Adapt infrastructure designs to international client requirements, site conditions, and regulatory environments
  • Conduct technical reviews, constructability evaluations, and infrastructure risk assessments

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 15–20+ years of progressive experience designing industrial facility infrastructure and utility systems
  • Strong expertise with boilers, HVAC, steam systems, compressed air systems, cooling water systems, chillers, fire suppression systems, and hazardous-area infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience performing high-load electrical infrastructure planning
  • Experience coordinating site-wide utilities and environmental support systems such as wastewater treatment or evaporators
  • Ability to work independently as a technical contributor
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Valid passport required
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to ITAR/EAR regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in defense, aerospace, chemical processing, energetics, or heavy industrial manufacturing sectors
  • Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and defense safety standards
  • Knowledge of NFPA standards and international building codes
  • Experience using engineering calculation tools for load sizing (electrical, thermal, or fluid)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
