Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Data & Analytics (D&A) Manager – Platform Engineering
to lead the operational management of a large-scale enterprise Data & Analytics platform. This role will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, managing service delivery, and leading a global engineering team that supports business-critical analytics platforms.

The ideal candidate will act as the
operational leader of the D&A platform
, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining strong communication with business stakeholders and executive leadership. This role requires a combination of
technical platform oversight, IT service management, and strong leadership capabilities
.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Operations & Service Delivery

- Oversee the operational management of enterprise
Data & Analytics platforms,
ensuring reliability, availability, and performance.
- Manage the
service intake process, ticketing workflows, and incident management
for core analytics platforms such as ADH and EAP.
- Serve as the
central operational gateway (“front door”)
for platform requests, support tickets, and service escalations.
- Ensure adherence to
IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
, including incident response, problem management, and service improvement.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

- Act as the
primary point of contact for business stakeholders and leadership teams
regarding platform operations and support.
- Communicate platform status, service updates, and incident resolutions to business units and executive leadership.
- Manage stakeholder expectations during
legacy platform transitions and decommissioning initiatives
, including EAP platform shutdown activities.

Team Leadership & Delivery Management

- Lead and manage a
distributed/global engineering team
responsible for supporting the D&A platform.
- Drive team performance, mentoring, and resource allocation across ongoing initiatives and operational workstreams.
- Coordinate engineering activities aligned with
Agile / SAFe Program Increment (PI) cycles
.
- Foster collaboration between platform engineers, data engineers, and analytics teams to ensure efficient service delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience managing
engineering or platform operations teams
in an enterprise environment.
- Strong background in
IT Service Management (ITSM), incident management, and operational governance
.
- Experience working in
Agile or SAFe environments
, including managing delivery during Program Increment (PI) cycles.
- Excellent
stakeholder management and communication skills
, with the ability to interact with senior leadership.
- Demonstrated
executive presence and strong decision-making capabilities
in operational environments.
