Role summary

Danfoss is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join their Digital Services Platform team in Tallahassee, FL. This role involves architecting and developing secure, scalable web applications and digital services. Key responsibilities include building and securing APIs (RESTful, WebSockets, MQTT), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and improving system architecture, reliability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of web development experience, with strong hands-on skills in Node.js and Angular, and a deep understanding of API security patterns. This is an in-office, full-time position.

As our
Senior Full-Stack Engineer
– Digital Services Platform, you’ll play a key role in architecting and delivering secure, scalable digital services and web applications that power how customers and internal teams interact with Danfoss Turbocor compressor solutions.
Your impact? You’ll help us accelerate delivery across our desktop-to-cloud experiences, improve platform reliability and performance, and strengthen API security and integration quality—so our digital services are easier to adopt, safer to use, and simpler to maintain.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product stakeholders and take ownership of full-stack development and architecture decisions that move our platform toward a more robust and scalable future.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Architect, design, and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across our digital services platform
  • Build and secure RESTful APIs, WebSocket endpoints, and MQTT integrations to support web applications and third-party integrations
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, from frontend experiences to backend services
  • Write and maintain automated tests and contribute to disciplined end-to-end software development practices
  • Improve system architecture, scalability, and performance, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies while staying current on web and cloud technology trends

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
  • 5+ years of web development experience, including strong hands-on experience with Node.js and Angular
  • Proven experience designing, developing, and integrating large-scale enterprise services using RESTful APIs, WebSockets, MQTT, and modern frontend frameworks
  • Deep understanding of API security, authentication, and authorization patterns (e.g., OAuth, JWT)
  • Experience working with Git and within Agile development environments
