Role summary

Danta Technologies is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for an onsite, 6+ month contract role in Northborough, MA. This position focuses on Modern Endpoint Management, including Intune, SCCM, Windows OS (7, 10, 11), Group Policy, WaaS, Autopilot, and Co-management. The role involves implementing new initiatives, developing engineering solutions aligned with product roadmaps, and troubleshooting complex issues as a final escalation point. Key responsibilities include hardware testing, vendor relationship management, documentation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure smooth product transitions. A minimum of 10 years of experience in End User Technologies is required, with specific expertise in Active Directory, Azure AD, SCCM, and scripting. Experience with macOS/iOS deployments and MDM solutions is also necessary.

Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Northborough, MA 01532 (Onsite position)

Contract: 6+ Months & extendable

Pay rate - $45/hr on W2/Danta Technologies payroll (OR) $50/hr on C2C-Corporation-To-Corporation

Key Accountabilities:

  • The areas of focus for this role are Modern Endpoint Management, Intune (MAM-WE), SCCM, Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, Group Policy, Windows as a Service (WaaS), Autopilot, and SCCM Co-management
  • Implementation of new key initiatives within the Device and Data organization
  • Accountability of Engineering solutions for current state and future vision that align to overall product roadmaps.
  • Works closely with architecture, engineering manager, product owners, and delivery functions to provide a world class end-to-end product experience to end user customers.
  • Provide insights into products, technologies and market trends while keeping updated with the latest technologies
  • Troubleshoot complex software and hardware issues as the final IT escalation level
  • Develop close relationship with vendors, business and technology leaders
  • Document solutions, SOPs and endpoint configuration standards
  • In charge of hardware testing and selection across many business areas
  • Present team recommendations to management, communicate technical issues in a concise and clear message
  • Work with IT Communications and Business Enablement teams to develop materials to market products.
  • Assist with driving a smooth product transition to operations and support via infrastructure operations best practices such as ITIL, and a high capability maturity

Knowledge, Experience and Technical Requirement:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience within End User Technologies and delivering capabilities such as Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy, SCCM, Application packaging, Microsoft O365, Standard Operating Environment (SOE), VMWare, VDI, Endpoint hardware and configuration, encryptions methods such as BitLocker and Checkpoint.
  • Have implemented a successful migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 utilizing the latest technologies to minimize the customer impact
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of Autopilot and zero touch deployments
  • Experience writing and running Powershell scripts
  • Has worked on Agile environment and follow all practices
  • Solid experience in implementing Intune, WaaS, SCCM Co-management
  • 3 years of being responsible for managing macOS/iOS deployments
  • Knowledge of MDM solutions like Airwatch, MobileIron, JAMF
  • A demonstrated and focused desire to build powerful, simple, well-designed products and services that customers will love to use
  • Working knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively, with the capacity for self-motivation, independent initiative and creative problem-solving
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, writing documentation and presentations
  • The ability to manage time and adjust initiatives with proper prioritization to meet aggressive deadlines
  • An excellent and deep attention to detail and strong technical intuition, as well as the ability to set and manage expectations
  • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced and deadline drive environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good leadership skills with experience collaborating and working with cross-functional teams
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution in a technical discipline (computer science, electrical engineering) or equivalent experience.

Compensation rates and salary ranges are determined based on multiple factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location.
