Role summary

dashmoto is seeking a Marketing Program Manager (Field Growth & Community) to build, operate, and scale field-based growth initiatives, starting with an ambassador and experiential activation program in California. This hybrid operational marketing and field growth role focuses on building a scalable acquisition channel that connects real-world engagement with measurable business outcomes. The role involves recruiting and managing teams, planning and executing on-ground activations, owning CRM and lead funnel operations, managing team performance and incentives, ensuring premium customer experiences, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive national expansion. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in field marketing, experiential marketing, growth operations, community programs, sales operations, or distributed team management, with a strong understanding of CRM systems and a data-driven approach.

Company Description

dashmoto is redefining urban mobility through design-led, high-performance 3-wheel seated electric scooters. As we scale across the U.S., we are building a powerful on-ground ambassador network to drive real-world engagement, product discovery, and conversion.

Role Description

We’re looking for a Marketing Program Manager (Field Growth & Community), to build, operate, and scale dashmoto’s field-based growth initiatives - starting with our ambassador and experiential activation program (first in California and the nationally based on success).

While the ambassador program will be the key initial focus, this role is designed to evolve into a broader operational growth leadership position spanning:

  • field activations
  • community and owner engagement
  • experiential marketing programs
  • CRM and lead funnel operations
  • partnership activations
  • regional growth initiatives
  • scalable customer acquisition experiments

This is not a traditional “street team” management role. It is a hybrid operational marketing, field growth, and lead-conversion role focused on building a scalable acquisition channel that connects real-world engagement with measurable business outcomes.

You will oversee the systems, teams, and operational workflows that move potential customers from first interaction → test ride → qualified lead → purchase.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build & Scale Field Growth Programs
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage ambassador and field activation teams across California (and nationally based on success)
  • Develop scalable systems, playbooks, onboarding processes, and operational standards
  • Structure teams, territories, schedules, and deployment strategies for maximum effectiveness
  • Help shape the long-term evolution of dashmoto’s field growth and community strategy
  • Field Operations & Experiential Activations
  • Plan and execute on-ground activations including events, community rides, pop-ups, beach/trail activations, partnerships, and high-foot-traffic engagements
  • Ensure consistent, premium customer interactions and brand representation
  • Optimize locations, timing, staffing, and activation formats based on performance data
  • Coordinate operational logistics for test rides, safety, waivers, and lead capture
  • CRM, Funnel & Lead Conversion Ownership
  • Own the operational coordination of the lead funnel from first interaction through to conversion
  • Manage CRM systems, reporting, lead tracking, and attribution
  • Oversee ambassador-specific codes, landing pages, and customer tracking workflows
  • Coordinate follow-up processes across SMS, email, phone, retargeting, demos, and nurture sequences
  • Help develop lead scoring, follow-up cadence, and conversion optimization systems
  • Track and improve:
  • lead capture rate
  • test ride conversion
  • follow-up engagement
  • time-to-conversion
  • CAC performance
  • Team Performance & Incentive Management
  • Manage ambassador compensation and incentive structures tied to performance outcomes
  • Track individual and team KPIs
  • Identify high-performing ambassadors and develop scalable best practices
  • Support the development of team leads and regional leaders as the program expands
  • Customer Experience Oversight
  • Ensure the customer journey feels premium, consultative, and highly personalized
  • Support customers through discovery, test rides, and follow-up engagement
  • Work closely with Sales to ensure high-intent leads are effectively nurtured and converted
  • Maintain strong customer experience standards throughout the funnel
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales & Customer Experience
  • Align field activations with campaigns, launches, partnerships, and brand initiatives
  • Feed real-world customer insights back into growth, product, and marketing strategy
  • Assist in evaluating CAC and channel effectiveness relative to other acquisition channels
  • Expansion & Scale
  • Build systems designed to scale nationally
  • Help validate and refine pilot programs before broader rollout
  • Support expansion into additional markets beyond California, including future regional programs
  • Assist in building scalable regional leadership structures as the company grows

What We’re Looking For

3+ years experience in:

  • field marketing
  • experiential marketing
  • growth operations
  • community programs
  • sales operations
  • or distributed team management
  • Proven ability to build and manage operational programs in fast-moving environments
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems (Hubspot is a bonus), lead funnels, and customer lifecycle management
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong organizational and operational discipline
  • Data-driven with a bias toward testing, iteration, and optimization
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable working evenings/weekends during activations and events when required

Bonus Experience

  • Mobility, EV, consumer tech, luxury retail, hospitality, or lifestyle brands
  • Community-led growth or ambassador programs
  • High-ticket or consultative sales environments
  • Event activations and experiential campaigns

What Success Looks Like

  • A scalable, high-performing field growth operation across California
  • Strong pipeline of qualified leads generated through experiential activations
  • Measurable improvement in funnel conversion and CAC performance
  • Repeatable systems ready for expansion into additional markets
  • Premium customer experiences that strengthen the dashmoto brand and community

Why This Role Matters

This role sits at the intersection of growth, operations, community, and customer experience. You won’t simply be managing ambassadors, you’ll be helping build and validate a scalable acquisition and engagement channel that could become a major part of dashmoto’s national growth strategy.
