Role summary

Assemble and complete aircraft cabinet components according to safety, quality, schedule, and cost standards, utilizing engineering and industrial definitions, procedures, and guidelines. The role supports the delivery of all aircraft models and promotes a positive and safe work environment. Key responsibilities include working with 2D/3D data, company standards, and work instructions to build components, adopting continuous improvement practices, and maintaining material traceability. The position requires adherence to safety procedures, including those for OSHA and confined spaces, and the ability to work with specific adhesives and chemicals.

Job Summary
Assemble and complete aircraft cabinet components at the expected standards of safety, quality, schedule, and cost, using engineering and industrial definitions, procedures and guidelines that support the delivery to the aircraft for all aircraft models. Promote a positive work environment and display a positive and respective attitude.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities (essential Functions)
Perform at expected standards of safety, quality, schedule and cost
Work with engineering and industrial definition using 2D/3D data, company standards and work instructions to build aircraft cabinet components
Adopt continuous improvement practices in your daily work
Embraces ACE values with peers and help create a work environment aimed at operational excellence
Select materials from stock to manufacture parts and maintain traceability of materials
Communicates and interact well with co-workers and management
Handles finished, plated and painted parts in accordance with company standards and procedures
Maintains a clean and organized work area
Works in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures
Performs cleaning of any equipment as needed
Performs all other duties as assigned
Non-principal Duties/Responsibilities (non-essential Functions)

Minimum Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months of knowledge of aircraft carpentry, carpentry or fabrication
Able to set up and operate all standard equipment or tools
Good working knowledge of math and geometry and be able to work in both metric and imperial units of measure
Good communication skills and understands the importance of schedules and budgets
Basic computer skills
Able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
Must have visual capacity and muscular dexterity to work on fine detail, high cost products with a minimal errors and rework
Able to work with engineering and industrial definition using 2D/3D data, company standards and work instructions to build aircraft cabinet components
Must be able to work with adhesives and chemicals
Must not be allergic to industrial chemicals
Must be able to work in confined spaces.

Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Manufacturing experience
Working Conditions
Typical factory environment. May work in areas with high noise levels, and in confined spaces. Will work with company’s approved adhesives and chemicals and exposed to cabinet shop sanding dust.
Compensation And Benefits
The compensation for this position typically falls between $22 and $29 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for a shift differential or relocation assistance. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
