Role summary
Databricks is seeking a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer for the Greater China Region, based in Singapore. This role involves providing expert technical support for the Databricks unified analytics platform, assisting customers with complex architectural scenarios and Big Data ecosystem challenges. The engineer will troubleshoot issues, offer best practices, and guide customers to achieve their strategic goals using Databricks products. Key responsibilities include resolving customer issues, supporting third-party integrations, collaborating with engineering teams, and contributing to documentation. The role requires 4+ years of experience in Python/Java/Scala application development, strong SQL and Linux/Unix administration skills, hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and familiarity with distributed Big Data environments. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential for client communication.

As a Senior Technical Solutions Engineer, you will provide technical support for Databricks Platform related issues and resolve any challenges involving the Databricks unified analytics platform. You will assist customers in their Databricks journey and provide them with the guidance and knowledge that they need to accomplish value and achieve their strategic goals using our products. They will look to you for answers to everything from basic technical questions to complex architectural scenarios spanning across the entire Big Data ecosystem. You will report to the Senior Manager of Technical Solutions.
