Role summary
Databricks is seeking an experienced RVP, Financial Services (Hunter) to lead a team of account executives in acquiring new logos within the financial services sector. This role requires a strong background in enterprise software sales, with at least 10 years of progressive experience, including Director-level leadership. The RVP will be responsible for driving revenue, developing strategic sales plans, hiring, coaching, and motivating their team to exceed sales targets. Ideal candidates possess a proven track record of success in complex sales environments, deep knowledge of the financial services industry (insurance, wealth & asset management), and excellent C-level communication and leadership skills. A passion for Big Data, AI, Spark, and cloud technologies is preferred. A Bachelor's Degree is required.
