Senior Product Manager, Accounting
Role summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the financial core of our AI-native trucking platform. This role involves end-to-end ownership of settlements, reconciliation, payments, and financial reporting. You will define the roadmap, make strategic trade-offs, and operate within strict accounting principles and compliance constraints. The ideal candidate has experience building low-error-tolerance fintech, banking, or payments products, thinks in ledgers, and possesses strong product judgment. Experience with accounting systems like QuickBooks or ERP/GL is preferred. This is a remote, full-time position across the US.
Trucking runs on thin margins and a back office held together by spreadsheets. We're rebuilding it from the ground up AI-native, and we're already moving real money for real fleets. The hardest, highest-trust part of that product is the financial core, and that's what we want you to own. This is a foundational hire…a senior owner for the area where mistakes are least forgivable and trust matters most.
What you'll own
The money side of the platform, end to end:
- Settlements, reconciliation, and payments
- the flows our customers stake their business on.
- Financial reporting and insight
that fleet owners actually run their company on.
- The roadmap for all of it
- strategy, prioritization, and the hard trade-offs between shipping fast and getting it exactly right.
- The rules.
You'll build inside real accounting principles, financial controls, and the compliance constraints that govern moving money and handling sensitive data.
Precision here isn't a feature, it's the job. We're handing someone the keys to the part of the product where 99% right isn't enough.
This is for you if:
- You've built and owned
fintech, banking, or payments
outcomes
- You
think in ledgers.
You know how financial and accounting systems actually work, and you're the one who catches the edge case everyone else missed.
- You have a
track record in low-error-tolerance products,
and an instinct for where they break.
- You're a
Senior or Principal PM
or a Director / Head of Product who's done managing and wants to build again.
- You want a hard problem and real ownership, not a backlog handed down to you.
Nice, but not required: experience with accounting systems (QuickBooks, ERP/GL, payment rails), or taking a product area from 0→1 and scaling it.
No trucking or TMS background? Doesn't matter. We hire for product judgment in domains where the details are unforgiving. We'll teach you freight.
