Role summary
Seeking an experienced SRE with a strong background in GCP Cloud for a contract role in Chicago, IL. This hybrid/onsite position requires expertise in migration, automation, and edge platforms, with a mandatory GCP Architect Certification and Kubernetes Certification. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Bash, as well as experience with Helm and Grafana, is essential. While not an architect role, candidates with leadership experience managing over 25 people and 10+ years of experience are also considered.
Need Strong in SRE- GCP Cloud.
Work Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid/onsite
For the SRE with GCP and GDC Edge role, experience with any edge platform can be considered, not only Google GDC. For example, GDC is a Google product, but experience with other edge platforms like Amazon’s edge platform can also be considered.
Also, this is not an Architect role. However, candidates who can handle more than 25 people as a Lead are also fine (10+years). The candidate should have strong experience in migration, automation, and edge platforms.
Scripting is mandatory – experience in, Python / Shell / Bash is required. Helm Grafana also need a experience.
Even though it’s not an Architect role, certifications are mandatory:
- GCP Architect Certification
- Kubernetes Certification
