Role summary
Our client, a leading organization in talent acquisition, is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer to build and deploy advanced AI systems. This role involves implementing multi-step reasoning agents with RAG, advanced memory, and tool integrations. You will define and optimize agent performance evaluation pipelines, design orchestration patterns for scalability and efficiency, and deploy production-grade workflows on cloud platforms like AWS. Collaboration with product managers, researchers, and engineers is key to transforming complex workflows into agent-driven solutions. The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of software development experience in cloud environments, with at least 2 years specifically in building and deploying agentic AI systems, proficiency in Python, and hands-on experience with LangGraph and LangSmith.

What You Will Be Doing
- Build Agentic Systems
– Implement multi-step reasoning agents with advanced memory, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and integrations with tools, databases, and APIs.
- Evaluate and Optimize Agent Performance
– Define and implement evaluation pipelines, including success/failure classification, grounding accuracy, reasoning robustness, tool-use reliability, and long-horizon task completion. Use metrics and benchmarks to continuously improve production performance.
- Orchestrate & Optimize
– Design supervisor/sub-agent patterns, enable coordination across agents, and apply best practices for robustness, scalability, and efficiency.
- Deploy & Evolve
– Deliver production-grade agentic AI workflows on cloud platforms (AWS preferred), monitor system performance, and continuously fine-tune for quality.
- Collaborate & Translate
– Work with product managers, researchers, and engineers to transform complex workflows into agent-driven, end-to-end solutions.
What You Must Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in software development within cloud environments
- 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying production-grade agentic AI systems
- Strong knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent performance evaluation
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph and LangSmith
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with backend cloud services (preferably AWS)
Nice to Have
- Contributions to open-source AI projects or frameworks
- Experience with multi-agent orchestration patterns at scale
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning, planning algorithms, or autonomous reasoning
- Proven track record of deploying agentic AI systems in production at scale
Salary/Rate Range:
$195.00 – $255.00
