Role Description

This is a remote internship role for a Google Cloud Engineer at DC InfoTech Cloud Solutions. The intern will assist in the design, development, and deployment of Google Cloud solutions. Responsibilities include supporting cloud migration efforts, managing cloud infrastructure, troubleshooting, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with security protocols. The intern will also collaborate with team members to refine cloud service implementations and contribute to relevant documentation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Software Development skills, with knowledge of coding, programming, and debugging methodologies.
• Experience or foundational knowledge in Infrastructure and Cloud Computing solutions, particularly in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with Linux systems for scripting, configuration, and system administration tasks.
• Understanding of Databases, including query languages and database management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen interest in learning and applying new technologies.
• Relevant certifications (like Google Cloud certifications) and coursework in cloud computing are considered an advantage.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
