Role summary
Seeking a Co-CTO / Chief Engineering Manager with a strong technical background in system design and ontology engineering. This role requires expertise in AI/ML for passive content creation, agentic permissioning, and human behavior simulation. The ideal candidate will be a great mentor, prioritizing hiring and developing engineers as a high-leverage activity, while also being capable of individual contribution in short sprints. Experience in training high-potential talent is critical. This co-founder position offers significant equity.
Looking for a technical dictator who spends a lot of time thinking through ontologies and system design, but realizes that the product delivering value to users is ultimately what matters. \
\
Should be interested in solving these technical problems:
1. Passive content creation: how can we turn raw data like screenshots of someone working into artifacts for teams and promotional purposes.
2. Agentic permissioning for social: if AI is creating content for you, how can you automatically decide who sees what? What should the public see? What should teammates see?
3. Simulating humans: given enough data about someone, how can we predict future behavior faithfully such that we can intervene and help them change their behavior. How can we make use of non-public data to make this actually accurate.
Should be a great mentor and have the mindset that hiring and therefore work trialling new engineers is the highest leverage use of time that will compound long term - being capable of being a hero IC and doing so in short sprints may be necessary, but should not be the default mindset. Experience training high slope talent is critical.
This position would receive a co-founder title and have significant equity.
