Location Address: Hybrid - Toronto – 3 days/week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Subject to change: 3–4 days onsite may be required based on business needs

Business group:
The Credit Risk Data & Analytics team is the core analytical group supporting Business Banking Credit Risk. The team focuses on automating manual processes, delivering portfolio insights, producing portfolio management reporting, and supporting the BBCR team with both regulatory and management reporting.
Project:
This role supports a highly strategic initiative designed to establish the foundation for regulatory and management reporting of a rapidly growing portfolio. The project aims to increase efficiency in limit monitoring and utilization. A key focus is the financial sponsor portfolio—a fast‑expanding business area. Phase 1, completed last year, successfully delivered foundational management reporting and was well‑received by stakeholders. Phase 2 will build on that success by integrating external data sources and addressing new business requirements to further automate and enhance reporting. The primary reporting solution will be delivered in Power BI.
Must Have Skills:
1) 10+ years’ overall relevant experience in data analysis
2) 5+ years’ experience advanced Power BI development expertise – with proven hands-on experience building complex Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards, with a strong focus on performance and scalability (DAX, M language, data modeling, Premium capacities)
3) 5+ years’ experience with SQL and data querying proficiency – with a strong ability to write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries against relational databases and data warehouses to support Power BI reporting needs (advanced querying, performance tuning)
4) 5+ years’ hands on experience using Microsoft Fabric (Data Engineering, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, KQL) and DataBricks (PySpark, Delta Lake, notebooks, workfow orchestration).
5) 5+ years’ data modeling and DAX skills – with a deep understanding of analytical data modeling concepts and advanced DAX, including complex measures, time intelligence, and performance optimization techniques.
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1) Security and access control knowledge - Practical experience implementing row-level security (RLS) and working within enterprise data security and governance standards.
2) Experience from FI complex projects, ideally related to business banking credit risk (not retail credit risk)
3) Experience with PowerShell scripting
