Senior Product Designer
Role summary
Design Humans is seeking a Senior Product Designer for a category creator in the modern travel agency space. This role involves joining a collaborative design team within a B2B SaaS platform, focusing on pushing new features. The designer will report to the Lead Designer and embed within a product team. As an early hire, they will significantly shape product and design processes. Key responsibilities include leading the entire product design process from research to QA, contributing to the design system, developing creative and high-quality designs, and deeply understanding customer problems to create innovative solutions. The role requires 5+ years of experience, comfort with SaaS and consumer-facing products, and proficiency in Figma. The position is based in NYC, requiring 4 days onsite per week.

Our comprehensive, business-in-a-box platform combines cutting-edge technology, personalized training, a vibrant community, and exclusive industry partnerships, giving travel entrepreneurs everything they need to launch and scale successfully.
This would be joining a highly collaborative team of awesome designers pushing new exciting features within a highly complex system B2B SaaS platform.
Please note this role is on site in NYC 4 days a week.
About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing design team. This person will report to our Lead Designer and embed within a product-focused team (Product Manager, Engineering Manager, Engineers). As an early Design hire at a time of rapid company growth, you will play a key role in shaping what our product and design processes will look like for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead with insights, designs, flows, prototypes, etc. – both strategically and tactically. Be comfortable with the entire Product Design process from research and design system input, to design and prototyping, to handoff and QA.
- Contribute to our nascent Design System to create consistently high quality experiences for our customers and decrease the time it takes to deliver it.
- Develop product designs that strike a balance between creativity, quality, speed, and business opportunity.
- Design new product features, from conception to user experience to pixel perfect implementation.
- Establish and drive a posture and practice of understanding customer problems deeply – not just reacting to customer requests but understanding them well enough to create solutions customers could not have thought of themselves.
- Demonstrate compelling and confident storytelling that surfaces assumptions and difficult decisions but also aligns stakeholders around solutions.
- Work collaboratively with peers in Product Management, Product Ops, Engineering.
About you:
- Have 5+ years of product design experience, preferably in a startup or embedded environment.
- Feel comfortable designing for both SaaS and Consumer-facing products, and have significant experience in at least one.
- Are excited about the prospect of creating many designs quickly, and are excited about both designing from 0-1 and iterating on existing products.
- Approach design with an eye on practicality and business impact.
- Are comfortable working with partial data or input from Product Managers (you can think with a product mindset and help push the team forward when needed)
- Communicate well, both your design ideas, as well as an ability to speak fluently with our advisors to secure product feedback
- Have a strong ability to create easy-to-use interfaces to accomplish complex tasks.
- Have a fondness for identifying and addressing uncertain issues and converting them into well-defined objectives.
- You have an eye for visually appealing and meticulously crafted design, paying close attention to details.
- Are extremely comfortable with Figma
Compensation
Compensation for this role varies based on experience, with an indicative range of $140K–$190K + equity based on experience. Final compensation will depend on the level at which the candidate is hired, as we’re considering multiple levels for this role.
