Role summary

Dexian is seeking a Thermal Test Engineer for a 12+ month contract role in San Jose, CA. The position requires a B.S. in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. The role involves hands-on lab testing using instrumentation, DAQ systems, and LabVIEW, proficiency with lab tools, and experience with thermal modeling software like Icepak or Flotherm. Responsibilities include assembling and disassembling products for testing and evaluation. Preferred candidates will have 2-3 years of engineering or research experience.

Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering or related field
Strong foundation in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
Hands-on lab experience: instrumentation, DAQ systems, LabVIEW
Proficient with lab tools (thermocouples, flow meters, pressure gauges, multimeters)
Experience with thermal modeling tools (Icepak, Flotherm, etc.)
Ability to assemble/teardown products for testing and evaluation
2-3 years of engineering/research experience preferred
